Play!

Play! at IKEA Museum in Älmhult is an interactive exhibition about the important topic of play.

IKEA has conducted one of the world’s most extensive research studies of play. The exhibition is inspired by the IKEA Play Report, exploring the importance of play for adults as well as children, identifying five different motivators to why we play.

The visitors get to experience and learn about the five different ways to play, but it requires participation and exploration. You need to play.

Expology developed the exhibition concept together with IKEA Museum, and was responsible for both interior and graphic design.
